SJA is an independent government-approved voluntary development organization, its management and all activities are conducted in accordance with the approved constitution. Its General Body (GB) has 21 members, including various professionals. Its executive committee (EC) consists of 07 members, responsible for implementing organizational activities and programs.

The organization has a legally constituted executive committee as per its constitution. The General Committee elects its office bearers/EC after two years.

Policy making within SJA is vested with its EC.  The EC members represent a wide range of social strata, professions and experience.  Each EC member is elected to serve a term of 2 years by the GB. The Executive Director is the chief functionary of the organization and is accountable to the Executive Committee for the implementation of the committee’s decisions and the smooth functioning of programs.
